  • Job Summary

    Job Summary:


    Reporting to the Credit Manager, this position has primary responsibility for assisting the Credit Manager in researching and resolving a heavy volume of debit memos, sales tax certificates, trade references, bank references and other customer requested documents. 

    Major Responsibilities

    Major Responsibilities:

    • Communicates with customers by phone calls or e-mails to resolve price discrepancies.


    • Identifies customer returns by credit memo.
    • Communicates with banks by phone or e-mail for credit references
    • Light filing of sales tax documents
    • Calls trade references to obtain a credit rating
    • Pulls packing slips per customer request
    • Other duties as assigned



    Minimum Requirements


    • High school diploma or equivalent.  
    • Minimum one year office experience, preferably in an accounting/finance environment
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize work and perform multiple tasks
    • Must have excellent time management skills
    • Must be able to learn FACTS or similar software as well as Outlook and Word. Excel a plus.
    • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills including speaking, reading and writing in the English language.
    • Must have excellent customer service skills and demonstrate a customer service mindset when dealing with internal and external customers.


    Essential functions:

    • Must be able to lift boxes up to 20 lbs.
    • Ability to review and interpret computer images and written documents
    • Analytical ability including basic math skills
    • Ability to listen to and interpret customers needs
    • Communication skills including speaking, reading and writing
